Each month, letters are sent notifying employers of discrepancies identified during processing of the prior month’s Contribution Remittance Reports. The discrepancies are caused by variances between the contribution amount owed and the amount paid. Detailed information concerning the discrepancy is provided on a Discrepancy Report enclosed with the letter. The amount may include 15% liquidated damages and 9% simple interest charges on late payments made for work performed 90 days or more prior to the date we received payment.
