Every IUOE Local Union pension fund in the Untied States, and four in Canada, are signatory to the International Union of Operating Engineers Pension Reciprocity Agreement.

Pursuant to that Agreement each fund provides either Pro Rata reciprocity, or both Pro Rata and Money Follows the Man (MFM) reciprocity, with each of the other signatory funds.

Through these reciprocal agreements the possibility for IUOE members to forfeit service earned in any Local Union fund is minimized --- no matter how limited that service may have been.
